David Hockney is an important contributor to the Pop art movement of the 1960s, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of the twentieth century.
His lastest exhibition in Paris at Foundation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent, on his drawings by using the application "Brush" on iPhone and iPad. It is very fascinating on how he combines 2 different things (art and technologie) together and ended up with a piece of fine art work.
The exhibition is separated in 2 halls; 1st hall consist all his works on either iPhone and iPad, mostly are flowers, nature mort, sceneries and portrait. Also there is one projector which demonstrate how he draws on iPad.
In the 2nd hall, there is a projector which shows his works on 1 big screen.
It is very interesting to see how arts and technologies can combine into one and David Hockney is consider the first artist who uses these 2 different things on his works. This exhibition is a MUST to everyone who loves art and also technologies.
